How to book an appointment: 

Existing patients at the Faculty of Dentistry: 

Step 1. If you are already a patient at another dental clinic at the Faculty of Dentistry, they might refer you to the Oral Radiology clinic for X-Rays.  

Step 2. Once we receive a referral, our receptionist will call you to schedule your appointment. 

New patients: 

If you are a new patient to the Faculty of Dentistry dental clinics, please review our general patient information overview. 

Step 1. If you are a new patient without a dentist, please visit the general dentistry page for detailed information on how to become a patient at the Faculty of Dentistry. Please call our general patient reception line at 416-864-8000 to register and leave a voicemail with your information.  

Step 2. If you already have a dentist, and you require special x-rays, please ask your dental office to complete our referral form and submit it through our secure digital portal. Alternatively, your dentist’s office can fax the form to 416-979-4943. 

Once we receive a referral, our receptionist will call you to schedule your appointment. 

Cost: 

Please note that there is a cost associated with your treatment. Our receptionist will discuss the cost of your treatment with you when booking your appointment.

We accept debit and credit cards as methods of payment.

If you choose to use personal cheques as a method of payment, you must pay upon arrival at the general patient reception of 101 Elm St. and ask for a receipt. You will need to provide the receipt to the Receptionist at the Oral Radiology Clinic. 

Coverage: 

Private insurance: Please note that the Faculty does not accept direct payment from private insurance companies. Patients are required to pay for treatment rendered and will be provided documentation that can be submitted for reimbursement.

Rescheduling or cancelling your appointment: 

Please note that if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require 2 business days’ notice. Please call reception at 416-864-8344.  

 
If you do not give us adequate notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $87.
