Welcome to the U of T Dental Public Health Emergency Clinic
WE ARE ACCEPTING PATIENTS WITH DENTAL EMERGENCIES
CALL 911 OR GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM NOW IF YOU HAVE:
- Heavy bleeding from teeth, mouth or face that will not stop
- A facial injury that affects breathing
- Severe facial swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow
What We Offer
The U of T Dental Public Health Emergency Clinic (DPHEC) offers urgent care for dental conditions such as pain in teeth or mouth, infection and swelling
- Patients are encouraged to have a dental home for their routine care
- Guidance is available for those interested in becoming U of T Dentistry patients
Hours of Operation
Emergency clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last patient intake is 2:45 p.m.)

- Current U of T Dentistry patients should contact their assigned student provider

Patients may be eligible for assistance with uncovered costs

Limit of two visits to the emergency clinic per patient, per year
